 The Prince Rupert Hotel is going through a re-birth! Built on the grounds of the original, historic Prince Rupert Hotel, we have reclaimed our original name and are making some exciting changes to become a new, contemporary and sophisticated hotel.

Here are some of the exciting changes taking place:

  1. Exterior of the building will be given a refresh; paint, etc.
  2. Lobby redone and front desk moved.
  3. Restaurant off-lobby changed to ‘breakfast room’.
  4. Now included in all rates is a continental breakfast with hot waffle bar. Hot breakfast coming in 2013.
  5. Guestrooms on floors 5 & 6 renovated and upgraded to ‘Premium’ products.
  6. Penthouse overlooking water converted into ‘Concierge Lounge’ bar/hospitality room.
  7. Total room count reduced from 93 to 83.
  8. Kitchenette suite units built for long-stay clientele.
  9. Renovations to all guestrooms – flat screen televisions, wireless internet throughout hotel, new beds, duvets and much more.
